The Woman Behind Wilke Creates

Hi, I’m Rachel Wilke (pronounced: wil-key)!
A Chicago-based illustrator and the founder of Wilke Creates.

You’ll usually find me in a local coffee shop or wine bar working on a new design or reading my new latest book obsession. What started with drawing on my iPad for fun in 2019 has turned into the greatest adventure of my life—this small business! I’ve been running Wilke Creates since 2020, making illustrations that feel warm, personal, and bring a little whimsy to your day.

My work shows up in some Chicago boutiques, at markets around the city, but mostly on the walls of people who love their neighborhoods, pets, and favorite places as much as I do.
